NDCCITMA LAUNCHES SKILL SPHERE YOUTH EMPOWERMENT TRAINING

The Niger Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines, and Agriculture (NDCCITMA), in collaboration with Hair Dynasty, has officially launched the Skill Sphere Youth Empowerment Training Initiative. The programme is designed to equip youths in the Niger Delta with practical skills that enhance employability, promote entrepreneurship, and foster economic independence.

The Chairman of NDCCITMA, Ambassador Idaere Gogo-Ogan, was represented at the launch by Dr. Kurotamunonye Harry, Head of Accounts and Administration, who delivered the opening remarks. He highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to youth empowerment through skills acquisition and encouraged participants to take full advantage of this unique opportunity. Dr. Harry was accompanied by some staff members of NDCCITMA.

The CEO of Hair Dynasty and initiator of the Skill Sphere Programme, Mrs. Victoria Peterside, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Ambassador Gogo-Ogan and the NDCCITMA team for their partnership and support. She urged the participants to approach the training with dedication, emphasizing that skill acquisition not only develops talent but also builds confidence, independence, and the foundation for a sustainable future. She further noted that the competencies gained could form the basis of a lifelong career.

The comprehensive training programme covers a wide range of vocational skills, including hairdressing, braiding, barbing, manicure and pedicure, makeup artistry, spa and wellness, lash extension, microblading, and entrepreneurship, providing participants with the tools to excel both professionally and personally.
