NDCCITMA EMPOWERS 100 YOUTHS THROUGH SKILL SPHERE PROGRAMME

The Niger Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture (NDCCITMA), in partnership with Hair Dynasty, has successfully trained and empowered 100 youths through its Skill Sphere Empowerment Programme. The initiative provided hands-on training in high-demand vocational skills, including hairdressing, braiding, barbing, pedicure and manicure, makeup artistry, spa and wellness, lash extension, microblading, and entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Chairman of NDCCITMA, Ambassador Idaere Gogo-Ogan, emphasized that the programme is designed to transform lives by equipping young people with practical, income generating skills and preparing them for a productive and self-reliant future.

He commended the Chief Executive Officer of Hair Dynasty, Lady Victoria Peterside initiator of the Skill Sphere Youth Empowerment Programme for her dedication and outstanding contribution to the success of the training. He further announced that NDCCITMA will provide post-training support to each beneficiary through its empowerment scheme, enabling them to establish and grow their own businesses.

Ambassador Gogo-Ogan encouraged the graduates to remain innovative, confident, and committed to excellence, urging them to serve as proud ambassadors of NDCCITMA by leveraging their skills to drive growth and development across the Niger Delta and beyond.

In her remarks, Lady Victoria Peterside expressed heartfelt appreciation to the management of NDCCITMA for their strong partnership and support in empowering young people. She noted that the initiative represents a life-changing opportunity for the beneficiaries and a significant turning point in their personal and professional journeys.
