The NDCCITMA Board Induction and Strategic Retreat was successfully held from 12th to 15th September 2025 at Heliconia Park Hotel, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The retreat was carefully designed to provide a comprehensive orientation for Board members, equipping them with a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and the expectations of the Chamber.

Beyond orientation, the retreat served as a strategic platform for in-depth deliberations focused on enhancing the Board’s effectiveness, strengthening governance structures, and fostering strong leadership capacity. The lecture sessions were facilitated by Professor Franklin Nnaemeka of Lagos Business School, who delivered insightful presentations on corporate governance, leadership dynamics, and boardroom best practices.

The programme was further enriched by the distinguished presence of the Managing Director of NDDC, Chief Sir Samuel Ogbuku, PhD, whose participation added significant value and perspective to the retreat.
