The summit’s keynote speaker, Mr Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, CFR, urged Niger Delta leaders and business elites to move beyond identifying the region’s challenges and develop a clear, practical roadmap for economic transformation.

“We need to move from a rent economy to a regional and productive economy.”

Aig-Imoukhuede said the Niger Delta could leverage its considerable resources and strategic advantages to build a stronger productive economy, but stressed that achieving such transformation would require deliberate planning and effective execution.
